Many would say that the most distinctive feature of the Salesian Theatre in Sliema is the 100-year-old proscenium by acclaimed Maltese artist Giuseppe Calì; that same lunette (or, rather, the outline of it) has served as the inspiration for our rebrand of the theatre. Teatru Salesjan now boasts a contemporary, flexible and approachable brand identity that serves as a just companion for its rich history.
I love the complexity in what might look simple. Bloom have managed to beautifully capture the essential elements that make up the image our audiences are left with after entering the theatre - the stage and the turn of the century Calì fresco. These two visual cues are cleverly placed in our branding and logo. I thank the Bloom team for helping us take the visual outlook for Teatru Salesjan further.
